Birmingham Children’s Hospital is the first hospital in the United Kingdom to go live with Fysicon DataLinQ. With this unique solution, the Birmingham Children’s Hospital has a complete data collection, management and reporting system for the registration and monitoring of pacemaker and ICD patients.

DataLinQ is a major step in moving to a paperless pacemaker clinic and provides the solution for bringing structure into pacemaker, ICD, loop recorder and remote device administration. Instead of data being printed and/or entered manually into the hospital information system or Electronic Medical Record, all data can be collected automatically in one comprehensive database. DataLinQ increases protection of patient information by removing the need for manual data entry, or external storage devices such as USB sticks.
